MTC has been a public company wholly owned by Namibia Post and Telecom Holdings Limited (NPTH), a government entity since 2018. Following its listing on the Namibian Stock Exchange (NSX) on 19 November 2021 MTC’s shareholding structure changed, with private retail and institutional investors taking up 40% of MTC’s shares and NPTH retaining 60% ownership. 2 WGA is a special purpose entity presently wholly owned by MTC that will be utilised to deliver financial services and products in Namibia in the near future.... read more
