The BRIDGE-in Agriculture training program will be delivered by two BDS partners with extensive experience in training and upskilling youth and women in Ghana.
The program covers agriculture and adjacent sectors including agro-processing, agricultural input suppliers, agri-technology, as well as other entities within the agricultural value chain, such as restaurants and agricultural research and development.
Training Programs
The Mastercard Foundation is an international non-governmental organization established by Mastercard in 2006. The organization, which is based in Toronto, Ontario, has supported work in 49 countries.In 2018, Mastercard Foundation shifted to a specific focus on Africa, through its Young Africa Works strategy. The skills and knowledge gained from the training programs can help participants in securing employment or growing their businesses, for example, by improving their business management abilities, expanding their networks, and increasing their understanding of market trends and best practices in their sector.
Participants will receive certificates for some of the training offered.
Eligible participants for the training programs are young entrepreneurs (aged 18-35) and women involved in agriculture and adjacent sectors who are seeking to improve their skills, grow their businesses, and/or find employment opportunities.
