The "Internships in Japan for Al and Tech Talent" program aims to promote diversity in the recruitment of IT talent for Japanese companies.
The program also creates opportunities for interns from ODA recipient countries (as per the DAC List of ODA Recipients) to learn various technical and professional skills at Japanese companies.
Japanese government scholarship supports foreign students who study in higher education institutions, selected on the recommendation of Japanese Embassy/Consulate General, University, or Authority.

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
Must align with the objectives of this program and be willing to actively contribute to the internationalization efforts of Japanese companies, the expansion of overseas businesses, and building networks with overseas universities through internship participation.
Must reside outside of Japan.
Must be expected to graduate from, or have already graduated from, a university, junior college, technical college, or a higher educational institution.
If you have already graduated from university, you must have graduated within the last three years.
Must be able to communicate in English.
Must not have Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N5 or higher.
Must be able to fully commit to internships and training at companies and be available for activities scheduled according to the activity plan submitted to the administration office.
Must meet any additional requirements specified by individual companies.
