This is the inaugural edition of the Afribary Graduate Scholarships Nigeria, a scholarship programme aimed at providing aid to selected students either pursuing or intending to undertake a postgraduate programme (Postgraduate diploma, Masters or PhD) in any Nigerian University.
The scholarship award accepts applicants studying or intending to study any postgraduate course offered in accredited Nigerian Universities..
Afribary is an edtech company focused on digital content for higher education in Africa and emerging economies. We are building an online library where millions of scholars find/share research materials (papers, projects, thesis, dissertations etc) and study content (course/study notes, exam prep, tutorials, books etc).

The Afribary Graduate Scholarships will provide financial support covering tuition fees for 2 semesters of a Masters degree or a Postgraduate diploma, tuition fees for 3 semesters of a Ph.D programme.
EDUCATION
- Applicants for the Masters or PGD scholarships must have completed a degree program in any accredited University in Nigeria and graduated with at least a second class lower degree.
- Applicants for the PGD scholarships must hold a Higher National Diploma from an accredited Polytechnic.
- Applicants for the PhD scholarships must have completed a Masters degree program from any accredited University in Nigeria.
RESEARCH AND LEADERSHIP
- Applicants must demonstrate talent for academic research and leadership potential.
- Applicants must have digital copies of their final approved degree/HND research project(for Masters/PGD scholarship) or Masters dissertation/thesis (for PhD scholarship).
OTHERS
- Applicants may be required to provide supporting documents for their acquired degrees or diploma and intended or ongoing postgraduate study.
- Applicants must be Nigerian citizens.

Your research work and other information provided in the above application steps will be a significant part of the review process to determine recipients of this year’s scholarship awards.
Applications close Dec 31st and will be treated on first come, first serve basis so apply now.
Winners of the Afribary 2023 Graduate Scholarships Awards will be announced/communicated in January 2024.
