The AGRA Value4Her Nigeria project, in partnership with the African Management Institute (AMI), is dedicated to empowering 3,000 Nigerian women agripreneurs by providing essential business development services, financial support, and market access to drive growth and innovation. This program seeks to address gender-specific challenges in agriculture, enabling women to thrive as leaders in the industry and catalyze agricultural transformation in Africa. Through virtual bootcamps, expert-led training, mentorship, and tailored financial linkages, participants gain the skills, networks, and resources to elevate their agribusinesses, regardless of size, and foster job creation within the agricultural sector.
AMI was founded in 2014 by Jonathan Cook, former director of South Africa’s Gordon Institute of Business Science, and Rebecca Harrison, a foreign correspondent and social entrepreneur.
