Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) GREAT Scholarships for African Students 2025

GREAT Scholarships are jointly funded by Anglia Ruskin University with the UK government’s GREAT Britain campaign and the British Council. We are offering GBP10,000 towards tuition fees for one-year master’s programmes to students from Indonesia, Nigeria, Kenya and Pakistan, who will enrol into Anglia Ruskin University in the 2025-26 academic year. About Anglia Ruskin University

Anglia Ruskin University is a public university in East Anglia, United Kingdom. It has 39,400 students world-wide and has campuses in Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough. It also shares campuses with the College of West Anglia in King's Lynn, Wisbech and Cambridge. It has its origins in the Cambridge School of Art, founded by William John Beamont in 1858. Aim and Benefits of ARU GREAT Scholarships

£10,000 in the form of a fee deduction from the tuition fees for the first year of study.

This scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarships or any early payment discount offered by Anglia Ruskin University.

Requirements for ARU GREAT Scholarships Qualification

Applicants must:

• Be a passport holder from Indonesia, Nigeria, Kenya or Pakistan for the respective country scholarship scheme.
• Have applied to and received an offer (conditional or unconditional) of a place on a full-time taught postgraduate course at ARU, in any subject, starting in September 2025.

Interview date, Process and Venue for ARU GREAT Scholarships

Key dates:

• The deadline to complete the application form is 25 May 2025 end of day UK time.
• We will aim to let you know if your scholarship application has been successful two weeks after the application is closed.

How we assess your application:

• The application will be assessed by a panel of ARU staff. We will notify the British Council of our decision.
• Applications will be ranked based on the details provided in the application form and supporting documentation, in line with the GREAT Scholar Profile published by British Council. We may also invite you to an interview to talk about your application.
