Aim and Benefits of Bank of Namibia Undergraduate and Postgraduate Bursary Program
- The sponsorship amongst others can include cost of registration, tuition, accommodation, books, travel and living related cost for the duration of studies.
. Successful candidates will be required to enter into a contract with the Bank of Namibia before commencement of studies.
Requirements for Bank of Namibia Undergraduate and Postgraduate Bursary Program Qualification
Undergraduate Requirements
Students complying with the following criteria may apply:
- Namibian Citizenship
- Excellent academic performance
- School Leavers (Grade 12 in 2024 or 2025) or registered tertiary student in any year of study
- An academic progress report if already enrolled at a recognised tertiary institution.
Preferred fields of study
Your chosen field of study should be in one of the following areas:
- Degree in Economics (Financial Econometrics)
- Degree in Mathematical Sciences (Financial Mathematics / Mathematical Economics)
- Degree in Data Science / Data Analytics
- Degree in Industrial Engineering
- Degree in Education (Mathematics/Sciences)
- Degree in Artificial Intelligence
- Degree in Management Information Systems
Postgraduate Requirements
Persons who are interested in seizing this opportunity are required to meet the following criteria:
- A Namibian citizen;
- 40 years of age and younger;
- Be in possession of an Undergraduate Degree.
Preferred fields of study
Your chosen field of study should be in one of the following areas:
- Master’s of Digital Forensics
- Master’s of ICT Policy & Regulation
- Master of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
- Master’s / Postgraduate Degree in Econometrics / Financial Economics / Monetary Policy and Liquidity Management
- Master’s Data Science / Data Engineering / Data Analytics
- Master’s in Industrial Engineering
- Master’s of Cybersecurity
