The Hancock Prospecting Swimming Excellence Scholarship is among the most prestigious scholarships available in Australia, targeted to provide an opportunity for a series of high performance swimming scholars to compete at an elite level, while gaining an outstanding education at Bond University.
The Bond Swimming Club currently provides access to some of the best swimming coaches in Australia, some of whom are based on the Gold Coast.
The Bond University is a private not-for-profit university located in Robina, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. The University was established at the initiative of Alan Bond, the founder and Chairman of Bond Corporation and Harunori Takahashi, President of EIE International. As a Hancock Prospecting Swimming Excellence Scholar, you will be awarded with 100% tuition remission for any single diploma program, single undergraduate degree* or single postgraduate degree, and you will commence in the following January semester.
In addition, as a Hancock Prospecting Swimming Excellence Scholar you would also receive a living allowance of $21,000 for each year of study (up to three years) as a cash payment. The cash bursary may be used as you wish, however it is intended to be spent on accommodation, food, sporting equipment, participation in sporting events and training, the Student Services and Amenities Fee, and textbooks.
