RMI’s Global Women in Clean Energy Fellowship is now accepting applications from women professionals in Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Zambia. This fellowship is designed to empower emerging leaders with the skills, networks, and resources needed to drive the clean energy transition in their countries and beyond.
Launched by RMI’s Energy Transition Academy (ETA), the fellowship supports women leaders in the Global South to grow their technical, leadership, and strategic capacities in clean energy. The inaugural cohort—delivered in partnership with local and global actors, including AMP—will kick off in June 2025.
The AMP is a USD 50 million country-led technical assistance programme designed to stimulate the solar-battery minigrids market to boost electricity access in 21 countries. The goal is to bring the development benefits of energy access to a wide array of communities across the continent by focusing on supporting productive uses of energy, which supports socio-economic development by enhancing the quality of sectors that require energy input such as agriculture, healthcare, education, and small businesses.... continue reading
