The Code for MENA Digital Democracy Hackathon will bring together civil society innovators, developers, and activists in the Middle East & North Africa to Create technology-driven solutions that strengthen democratic participation across Africa. We're looking for scalable, inclusive, and open solutions that protect civic rights, increase civic participation, and mobilize communities-especially in restrictive environments where voices are often silenced.

Requirements for Civicus MENA Digital Democracy Hackathon Fellowship Qualification

• This hackathon is open to civil society actors, developers, designers, data enthusiasts, and change-makers across Lebanon, Jordan, Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Egypt, and Syria.
• Age:18-40.
• You can apply as an individual or as a team -technical background is not required. If you don't have a team or an idea yet, we'll match you with others.
• Diversity and inclusion are strongly encouraged.
