About Newcastle University

Newcastle University (Officially, the University of Newcastle upon Tyne) is a public research university located in Newcastle upon Tyne in the North-East of England. The university can trace its origins to a School of Medicine and Surgery (later the College of Medicine), established in 1834, and to the College of Physical Science (later renamed Armstrong College), founded in 1871. £10,000 support towards tuition fee

Requirements for Newcastle University Future Leaders Scholarships Qualification

To be considered for awards applicants must:

• be domiciled in Nigeria 
• have been offered a place to study on an eligible Master’s degree course at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2026/27 academic year
• be assessed as international for fee purposes

Eligible candidates will automatically be awarded a Newcastle University Nigeria Future Leaders Scholarship.
