The Leventis Foundation Nigeria is a charitable organization dedicated to empowering youths and farmers through training in modern, sustainable agricultural practices and the responsible use of natural resources.
Since its inception in 1987, the Foundation has been at the forefront of agricultural training, with six agricultural training schools strategically established across different agro-ecological zones in Nigeria. These schools, located in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Osun, Kano, and Gombe states, are co-funded by the Leventis Foundation and the respective State Governments.

Aim and Benefits of Leventis Foundation Training Programme in Modern and Sustainable Agricultural

- Free of Cost: Tuition, boarding, and feeding are provided entirely free of charge for successful candidates.
- Empowering Future Farmers: The objective is to nurture generations of skilled, practical farmers who will catalyze agricultural transformation in their communities and contribute to advancing the food system.
Requirements for Leventis Foundation Training Programme in Modern and Sustainable Agricultural Qualification
- Be physically fit.
- Ability to read and write in English (evidence of a minimum of secondary leaving school certificate may be required).
- Aged between 18 and 40 years old.
- Pass both written and oral tests prior to final selection.
- Should demonstrate a perceivable interest in agriculture.
- Proof of a farming background is an advantage.
Documents Required for Application
- A handwritten cover letter.
- A letter of attestation, signed by either the Chairman or Secretary of your Local Government of Origin or a Justice of the Peace (JP).
- Attach the following documents:
- Two (2) recent passport-sized photographs.
- Three (3) reference letters.
- Photocopies of your academic qualifications or any other relevant documents.
