Loughborough University 2025 Inspiring Success Scholarship

Awards are open to graduates specifically from East London to study a master's programme on our London campus.

The Inspiring Success programme was founded in partnership with the London Legacy Development Corporation and has most recently been supported by kind donations from alumni, local foundations and businesses.

About Loughborough University UK

Loughborough University (abbreviated as Lough for post-nominals) is a public research university located in the market town of Loughborough, Leicestershire, in the East Midlands of England. It has been a university since 1966, but the institution dates back to 1909, when the then Loughborough Technical Institute began with a focus on skills and knowledge which would be directly applicable in the wider world. Aim and Benefits of Inspiring Success Scholarship

100% of tuition fees which will be credited to the student’s tuition fee account

Requirements for Inspiring Success Scholarship Qualification

• Be a graduate with a minimum of a 2:2 honours degree from a UK university or international equivalent
• Priority will be given to those who have graduated at least 6 months prior to the start of the programme
• Be currently residing in Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets or Waltham Forest
• Have previously taken GCSE or A-level qualifications while residing in Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets or Waltham Forest
• Be currently unemployed or under-employed, earning below £580.30 per week
• Be willing to become ambassadors of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and actively give back to the local community
• Have applied for and be in receipt of an offer from your preferred master's programme

Interview date, Process and Venue for Inspiring Success Scholarship

Successful applicants will need to demonstrate academic excellence and potential, and they will need to outline how they wish to develop their local community on completion of their degree.
