The course curriculum will cover topics such as;

• Character Design
• Promotional Art Design
• Art Collaboration
• Environment Design
• Scene Visualisation
• 3D Modeling

• Storyboarding

The programme offers multiple opportunities for you to network with experienced mentors and professionals in the gaming industry. 

Requirements for Become A Game Artist Qualification

Anyone in Nigeria, Cameroon, Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Ghana or Kenya can apply; however our ideal candidate should possess some of the following qualities

• Have a strong background in art, including skills in drawing, painting and digital art.
• Have successfully completed an online visual art related course in the past 12 months
• A strong passion for self-learning and problem-solving
• Enthusiastic about launching a career in video game art production

Interview date, Process and Venue for Become A Game Artist

The art programme will operate in 2 levels. Students who successfully complete level 1 will progress to level 2. 

Level 1 

• Learning Phase
• Duration: 8 weeks
• Start Date: 31st May 2023
• End Date: 26th July 2023

Level 2

• Project Phase
• Duration: 4 Weeks
• Start Date: 27th July
• End Date: 24th August

Participants who graduate from the training will be invited to apply for an internship with Maliyo Games.
