Ruth Titilayo Educational Foundation is pleased to offer a scholarship, awarded to successful applicants who are currently studying in a Federal University within the Nigeria. The grant may cover all your expenses or just make a small but useful contribution.
Ruth Titilayo (Iya Taiwo) was born in 1952, attended Abeokuta Girls Grammar School and the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She was very passionate about education. She was even more passionate about helping the less privileged. On the 20th anniversary of her death at 50, it is only natural that these two passions birth the Ruth Titilayo Foundation. *Final year undergraduates are also eligible for the Ruth Titilayo Foundation Undergraduate scholarship.
Candidates will be assessed:
You will also need to submit a personal statement, current school result, and two written references from the tutors listed in your application form. You will be shortlisted based on providing the above and any other relevant information.
If you are shortlisted, you will be invited for an online interview where you will be asked a series of competency based questions related to your current year group.
The application window will run from 1st October 2024 to 31st October 2024. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted from the 11th November 2024. This will be followed by an interview in December 2024 and scholarship awards to successful candidates.
Complete and SUBMIT the on-line application form on this website. This will include attached copies of your current school result, two reference letters from your tutors, a personal statement, and any supporting documents.
