The Give1Project, Concordia University, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) are searching for 150 young people from across West and Central Africa to join the second cohort of the Regional Cybersecurity Training programme.
The initiative, first launched in 2023 with a pilot group of 22 young participants—many of whom are now employed or leading digital initiatives—is now expanding to train 150 new cybersecurity enthusiasts in 2025.
UNDP works in about 170 countries and territories, helping to achieve the eradication of poverty, and the reduction of inequalities and exclusion. We help countries to develop policies, leadership skills, partnering abilities, institutional capabilities and build resilience in order to sustain development results. Screening Criteria:
First-Level Screening
Candidates who meet the minimum requirements of the programme will be shortlisted for the next phase. The scoring breakdown will be as follows:
Second-Level Screening: Technical Assessment
Candidates who pass the first screening stage will undergo a deeper technical evaluation following a notification from the technical evaluation committee.
Third-Stage Screening: Interviews
Following the successful completion of the first and second stages, candidates with the highest scores will be invited for a round of interviews before being notified of the final selection.
