The United Nations Academic Impact and MCN proudly present the Millennium Fellowship. The Fellowship is a semester-long leadership development program on your campus to take your social impact to the next level.  

The program is specifically designed for undergraduates committed to advancing social impact and the Sustainable Development Goals. Fellows refine their leadership, build impactful projects, and connect with a global community of changemakers.

About United Nations

The English language component of the Indigenous Fellowship Programme (IFP) was established in 1997. It takes place at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Geneva, Switzerland and lasts for 4 weeks, usually coinciding with the annual meeting of the Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (EMRIP). Aim and Benefits of United Nations Millennium Fellowship

• Millennium Fellowship offers a unique opportunity to engage with a global network of peers dedicated to making a significant social impact.
• Millennium Fellows have the chance to engage in a series of sessions focused on developing actionable plans for their social impact projects, sharing best practices, and contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in meaningful ways. 

Requirements for United Nations Millennium Fellowship Qualification

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be an enrolled undergraduate student during the duration of the program (August- November 2026)
• Have interest in social impact work
