Aim and Benefits of University of Edinburgh Education Beyond Borders Scholarship

• The award covers part or full UK Home Tuition Fees plus a full or partial stipend which is in line with the UKRI minimum level. For the academic 2025/2026 academic year the stipend was to the value of £20,780 (UKRI rate).

Requirements for University of Edinburgh Education Beyond Borders Scholarship Qualification

You must have one of the following immigration statuses to be eligible to apply:

• Asylum Seeker
• Refugee status (not including indefinite leave to remain)
• Humanitarian Protection
• Limited leave to remain on the grounds of seeking protection
• Leave under a resettlement Scheme.

You must also meet all the academic entry requirements of your chosen degree programme.
