The University of Leicester is delighted to offer 150 tuition fee waivers over the next five years to international undergraduate students. This begins with 30 tuition fee waivers available for applicants starting in September 2026.
The University of Leicester (i/?l?st?/ LES-t?r) is a public research university based in Leicester, England. The main campus is south of the city centre, adjacent to Victoria Park. The university established itself as a research-led university and was previously ranking among the top 20 universities in the United Kingdom. Discretion will be applied where an equivalent level is not practically attainable within the marking scheme of particular international qualifications.

To be considered, you need to create a short video (no more than two minutes) which answers these three questions:
Videos should be submitted as a link to Google Drive, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Wechat Video or Douyin in the section indicated in the application form.
The University of Leicester is not looking for film-making or acting skills, but instead how you approach and answer the questions. And, you don’t need to be in the video yourself if you don’t want to be. Alongside the video submission, the University of Leicester will also take into consideration your Personal Statement and any extracurricular activities you have highlighted in the application form.
