The ICSP scholarship is renewable each year to completion of a UO degree, provided the student follows the requirements of the ICSP program. ICSP students agree to complete 66-80 hours per year of cultural service as required by the program. Cultural service can include speaking or giving demonstrations to schools or community groups about the heritage and culture of your country or participating in international events on campus. New and continuing international students may apply for the International Cultural Service Program (ICSP).

- Selected ICSP students receive a partial tuition-waiver scholarship.
Requirements for University of Oregon ICSP Scholarship Qualification
- Applicants must be admissible or fully admitted to the University of Oregon. New students must apply for admission to the UO for Fall 2026 by January 15, 2026. To apply for admission click here.
- Applicants cannot be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or eligible to receive U.S. federal financial assistance.
- Applicants must demonstrate sufficient financial resources in addition to the scholarship and meet the minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA requirement.
Interview date, Process and Venue for University of Oregon ICSP Scholarship
The following criteria are used to select the successful candidate:
- Demonstrated financial need
- Experience participating in cultural activities
- Demonstrated performance and presentation skills
- Strong academic records
- Strong communication skills

- Within 3 days of applying for admission, you can find your UO Student ID (95xxxxxxx number)in your Admissions Status Portal. You’ll need this number to create an account to apply for UO scholarships. Click on 'UO Scholarship Dashboard' below. Once logged into the dashboard, submit the Profile, ISSS Endowed Scholarships Application and continue on with the ICSP Scholarship Application. This is one application for both scholarships.
