Ventures Platform (VP) is a pan-African fund that invests early in mission-driven founders building capital-efficient platforms that democratise prosperity, plug infrastructural gaps, connect underrepresented communities, and improve livelihoods in Africa. We provide smart capital and growth support for Africa’s boldest entrepreneurs and are early investors in some of the most compelling technology companies on the African continent.
In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing a pipeline, identifying and securing potential investment opportunities, analyzing companies and business plans, conducting financial modelling, and performing due diligence. You will collaborate with team members and external partners to execute investments. Additionally, you will assist the Senior Management Team throughout the entire fund lifecycle, from fundraising and deal sourcing to investment execution, as well as post-investment support and monitoring of portfolio companies
