WIPO Master’s Degree Program Scholarship 2027

This Master’s Degree Program in Intellectual Property and Development Policy (MIPD) is jointly organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the Ministry of Intellectual Property (MOIP), the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) of the Republic of Korea, and the KDI School of Public Policy and Management (KDI School), in Sejong, Republic of Korea.

Aim and Benefits of WIPO Master’s Degree Program Scholarship

• Full tuition
• Round-trip air fare (Economy Class) 
• Monthly Stipend

* Visa costs, if any, are at the expense of participants
* Korean applicants' may receive scholarship benefit of tuition fees if selected by KDIS and WIPO

Requirements for WIPO Master’s Degree Program Scholarship Qualification

WIPO scholarships are awarded to:

• Government officials and individuals working in the public sector, including universities, academics, and research and development institutions 
• Candidates should be from developing countries, least developed countries (LDCs) or countries in transition.

To be considered, applicants shall:

• Hold at least a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university
• Be fluent in English
• Apply through both the WIPO eLearning Center and KDI School’s online application system within the deadline

Interview date, Process and Venue for WIPO Master’s Degree Program Scholarship

Successful applicants for WIPO scholarships are notified by the WIPO Academy. Thereafter they will be provided with relevant information, including travel arrangements.

Documents Required for Application

• University Degree(s) (translated in English)
• For non-native speakers proof of English language: TOEFL / CAE or acceptable equivalent
• Transcript of University studies (Translated in English)
• Recent Curriculum Vitae

Applicants who have received their degree (Bachelor’s degree or higher) from the following countries are automatically exempt from submitting an English Proficiency Test Score: *Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Canada, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, Malta, New Zealand, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, United Kingdom, United States
