University of Ghana Students Financial Aid Office (SFAO) is accepting applications for the award of the 2025/2026 SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING SCIENCES TOYOTA GHANA  SCHOLARSHIP AWARD (SESTGSA) from UG undergraduate students in the School of Engineering Sciences.

University of Ghana School of Engineering Scholarship

Requirements for University of Ghana School of Engineering Scholarship Qualification

1. Are a Ghanaian Student.
2. Undergraduate students in the School of Engineering Sciences
3. Obtained a CGPA of at least 2.75 (Level 100) or 3.0 (Levels 200 and 300).
4. Can demonstrate limited family income and/or insufficient funds to cover educational related expenses.
5. Have the will to succeed (determination, perseverance and success in other pursuits).
6. Are of a Good Conduct 

Ladies are encouraged to apply.

Documents Required for Application

The following are examples of documents that can be used to support applications:

• Official pay slip or payroll record of parents/guardians or the applicant.
• Recent school receipts/ bills of siblings of school going age.
• Tax return receipts– IRS, VAT, tabletop hawking receipts, etc.
• Birth Certificates (of siblings).
• Death Certificate or Burial permit (in case of death of a parent).
• Pension letter for retired parents/guardians.
• Bank Statements/Ghana Cocoa Board Farmers Association Passbook.
• SSNIT contribution statements.
• Money transfer receipts.
• National Health Insurance receipts (showing premium paid).
• Evidence of other dependents of parents/guardians.
• Any other supporting documents that you believe will assist in the processing of your application.

How to Apply

• You are required to visit the UG website: https://www.ug.edu.gh/financialaid
• Click on: Scholarships/ SESTGSA Scholarship
• Read the eligibility page and complete the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM with the required essays and documents. 
• In addition, applicants are required to PRINT OUT A HARDCOPY of the DECLARATION FORM and submit it to the Students Financial Aid Office on or before the deadline, Thursday, July 30, 2025.
