The University of Lincoln’s Africa Scholarship is designed to help students from across Africa to access postgraduate level study at the University of Lincoln. The Africa Scholarship is offered as a tuition fee discount against the cost of a postgraduate taught programme commencing in the 2025/26 or 2026/27 academic year.

Aim and Benefits of University of Lincoln Africa Scholarship
The Africa Scholarship is valued at £4,000 - £5,000 and will be awarded to eligible students as a tuition fee discount during the first year of their studies.
Requirements for University of Lincoln Africa Scholarship Qualification
September 2025 and January 2026 Entry
In order to be eligible to receive the Africa Scholarship prospective students must meet the following criteria:
- Be a national of, or have permanent residence in, Africa (excluding Egypt. Please visit our Egypt Scholarship webpage for details regarding scholarship eligibility for students who are nationals of or have permanent residence in Egypt).
- Hold a Conditional or Unconditional Offer from the University of Lincoln for a full-time postgraduate taught programme commencing in September 2025 or January 2026.
A £5,000 scholarship will automatically be awarded to students who have:
- a) Completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution and have obtained at least the equivalent of a 2:1 classification or
b) Completed a Pre-Master’s degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master’s degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University
A £4,000 scholarship will automatically be awarded to students who have:
- a) Completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution and have obtained at least the equivalent of a 2:2 classification or
b) Completed a Pre-Master’s degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master’s degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University
