The Government of Mauritius invites applications from deserving students who are resident citizens of member states of the African Union or African Commonwealth countries for the Mauritius Africa Scholarship Scheme.
The Objective of the Ministry of Education, Tertiary Education, Science and Technology is to ensure that all students are given the opportunity to embark on and complete higher secondary education for employability and higher and further education and training with the required maturity and confidence. Second step: Application to respective Nominating Agency
Applicants must submit the completed Mauritius-Africa Scholarship Application Form and copies of all uploaded documents as per the Checklist to their respective Nominating Agencies. This should be done by a deadline to be determined by the Nominating Agency and communicated to prospective applicants.
An applicant may either: (a) obtain a conditional offer (letter of admission) from their chosen Mauritian public HEI and submit this along with the scholarship application: OR
(b) submit a receipt of payment of the application fee from their chosen Mauritian public HEI along with the scholarship application. Note: The application fee shall be refunded to successful applicants
Applications and all supporting documents must be forwarded to the Ministry of Tertiary Education, Science and Research of the Republic of Mauritius at the address mentioned below for the final selection.
