HumAngle, in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), is calling for applications from middle-career and senior journalists in Nigeria for a 3-day fellowship on reporting conflict and missing persons. The fellowship will be held in Abuja between November 4–6, 2025, with participants arriving in Abuja on November 3 and departing on November 7.
All participants must commit to the training in its entirety. It will be an enjoyable but rigorous experience, so be sure to apply only if your job is willing to let you take time off for the training. Freelancers are welcome to apply: we don’t discriminate.
Through the 3-day rigorous training, 10 selected senior and mid-career journalists from Nigeria will be introduced to a wide range of sessions that will better equip them to report these stories in trauma-informed and ethical ways.
