Africa Check and Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung invite African fact-checkers and journalists with a keen interest in fact-checking to apply for a 12-day fact-checking fellowship program in November 2025. The programme will be held in English at Africa Check’s offices in Kenya, Nairobi.
The Fact-Checking Fellowship Programme is a 12-day intensive training designed specifically for journalists who are committed to truth-based reporting and who actively engage in or aspire to engage in fact-checking practices. As misinformation and disinformation continue to pose serious threats to democratic dialogue, public health, and social cohesion, the programme aims to equip participants with the competencies necessary to meet these challenges head-on.

All training sessions will be conducted in English, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the programme. Participants are therefore expected to have a strong command of the English language to fully benefit from the sessions and engage in the group activities.
