TrustLab is a three-year EU-funded project by DW Akademie, Code for Africa (CfA) and Siasa Place, designed to help frontline organisations respond to digital threats with practical, community-led solutions.
Through the programme, participants will explore ways for frontline watchdog media to collaborate around shared infrastructure and services wherever possible, to bolster their collective ability to defend against digital harms in ways that are sustainable within a resource-constrained environment
We believe that independent media and responsible journalism are essential worldwide. Given Germany's history, we believe that people should be able to freely express their views and have access to independent sources of information. We consider this to be an important prerequisite for peace and democracy.
